After four years, it was so great to be back in Florida to reconnect with colleagues and learn about the most recent research and advancements in Upledger CranioSacral Therapy.
There were some concepts presented that were paradigm shifting, to say the least. The Danish satellite has been doing research with a machine they invented to measure the CranioSacral Rhythm. As it turns out, the CSR does not stop during Stillpoint! More on this later once the Institute updates us on discussions with the instructors.
French surgeon Jean-Claude Guimberteau showed endoscopic images and video that proved things we learned in anatomy class were wrong. Conclusions were made based on observation of cadavers, whereas viewing living tissue showed something totally different. Who learned that tendons were avascular? Hands up over here. Not the case.
There is so much more I could say, but instead I will pass along some great news for Medallion members. You will be able to access and view the video recordings of the presentations from the conference. For now, here are a few captioned snapshots of my time in Jupiter.
